Ramos ready to raid Spurs
Posted On December 10, 2008 at at 3:03 PM by Liam DempseyNew Real Madrid manager Juande Ramos is reportedly going back to Tottenham to sign a winger with David Bentley and Aaron Lennon (pictured) linked with a move to The Bernabeu. Ramos wants a pacey winger to replace Arjen Robben who has had injury problems and of course the departure of Robinho to Manchester City on the last day of the summer transfer window.
Ramos was sacked by Spurs earler in the season and was appointed as Madrid manager on Tuesday. Ramos signed Bentley for Spurs for £17million and its unlikely new manager Harry Redknapp will sell him as he has featured regularly for Tottenham this season. Aaron Lennon on the other hand has failed to hold down a starting place and was linked as part of a deal to bring Liverpool striker Robbie Keane back to Spurs, so Lennon might be sold to Madrid.
I think Lennon and Bentley are both top players but weather they are good enough for the Spanish Champions is a different story but we will have to wait and see come January.
